Welcome to Famiverse. Your privacy matters to us — your family’s data should stay private and under your control. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Famiverse is built for collaboration within the private spaces you create (“famiverses”). Most information in the app is created and managed by you and shared only with the people you invite.
We do not collect precise location, your contacts, or your device files, unless you choose to upload an avatar or similar media.
We do not sell personal data. We do not share your family content with advertisers.
Legal bases (GDPR): performance of a contract (providing the app), legitimate interests (app improvement and security), and consent where required (e.g., certain analytics where applicable).
We use third-party service providers to host and operate Famiverse and to help us keep the app reliable and secure. This includes cloud infrastructure used for core functionality such as authentication, data storage, and syncing across devices.
Where we use analytics, it is limited to understanding app performance and feature usage (for example: app version, device/OS version, and in-app events). We do not use analytics to sell personal information or to share your family content with advertisers.
Our service providers process information only on our instructions and under contractual obligations designed to protect it. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS/HTTPS), and security controls are in place to protect access to stored data.

You can create or join multiple famiverses. To join, an invite link is generated and becomes invalid after use. A famiverse owner must approve join requests; until approval, applicants cannot see any data. Owners can also remove members at any time.
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we begin deletion promptly and aim to remove associated personal data from our active systems within a reasonable period (typically up to 30 days), subject to necessary backups and legal requirements.
We follow current best practices for security and access control and use encrypted connections (HTTPS). No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we work hard to protect your information. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
Famiverse is designed for families. Parents or guardians manage participation and can invite children to a famiverse. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children under 13 without parental involvement. If you believe a child provided information without permission, contact us and we will remove it.
Our providers may process data in multiple countries. When data is transferred, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) as required by law.
Our website uses essential cookies and security measures to protect forms and prevent spam and abuse. For example, we use Cloudflare Turnstile on certain forms. These technologies are used for security and reliability purposes, not for advertising.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your data; object to or restrict processing; and portability rights. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@famiverse.app.
GDPR (EU/EEA): you have the rights listed above and can lodge a complaint with your local
supervisory authority.
CCPA/CPRA (California): we do not sell personal information. California residents may request
access or deletion by emailing us.
We may update this policy as we add features or as laws change. We’ll post the new version here and update the “Last updated” date. If changes are significant, we may notify you in the app or by email.
